How did you get into horses?
My older sisters rode horses already so that was all I wanted to do when I was finally old enough for my first lesson for my 5th birthday!
Mares or geldings?
Geldings! I went from a chestnut mare to a bay gelding... the chestnut mare was never the same hors twice, Sly has been the exact same horse every single day for the 4+ years I've been riding him. 😂
What's your go-to early morning drink?
Coffee! Mostly cream and sugar in my Starbucks iced coffee.
How have horse's impacted your life?
I currently ride my horse Sly. We have competed in show jumping and done some combined training, but as he gets older (about to turn 17 :( ) we are slowing down on our jumping and focusing more on dressage! Our favorite activity is bareback hacks though.
Share one lesson that horses have taught you, that's always stuck with you.
Horses have taught me the importance of hard work. Growing up we didn't have the money for me to ride or have a horse of my own so I had to work for every lesson I did and eventually had to work off my first horses board. I got up before high school and went to clean stalls and feed. I don't think I would have the work ethic I do if it wasn't for horses.
What's your favorite part about working for FRE?
The products are truly the best there is so it makes it easy to do my job! I love marketing the products because I genuinely believe in and love them.
What's your favorite piece at FRE? What do you like about it?
The black lux breeches! They are my staple and go to and have been for years! They are so comfortable that I can wear them all day!
